Offensive Slump Continues...

It was a chance to rebound following Sunday Night's pathetic performance against Coulas.  Xtreme however DID NOT capitalize on the opportunity.  For the 1st time this season, Xtreme has now lost back-to-back games dropping a 14-9 decision to the Rebels, and this one was costly!

A team that was averaging over 20 runs-for per game has now seen their average drop to 15.13, and even worse, the Club has gone 3-3 in their last 6 games.  Following the game, players and fans alike gathered in the parking lot to discuss the recent mishaps and explore some ways in which the team can turn things around.

The President of the Xtreme Fan Club- UK Division (Trevor Rodgers) was once again on-hand to witness the debacle and by the end of 7 innings, could only return to the parking lot to enjoy a couple of cold ones with the Boys.

Coach Ackford's 1-beer performance was quite possibly one of the most discouraging post-game events of the evening, and seriously began to raise questions about a "Man" who goes home to watch The Bachelorette via PVR.

Sunday will determine whether or not this team has any chance of re-bounding and returning to the top of the League Standings, as a double-header against the Devils and Falcons once again looms.
