Xtreme Contracting entered Sunday night's matchup against the Coulas Bone Crushers riding a 3-game win streak and another 10-man roster meant that the team needed to avoid any further injury, as the next 2 games on the schedule include dates with the Storm and the Devils.
Xtreme came out swinging and took an early lead that they would not relinquish on this evening. The offense scored 17 times including Jamie Allan taking over top spot in the HR race as he recorded his 21st and 22nd of the season, while Derek Ackford now sits tied for 2nd with 21 round-trippers.
The Defense played well and held the opponents to 5 runs over the course of the 7 innings. Cito recorded a complete game victory on the mound.
Make the final, Xtreme 17- Coulas 5.
Xtreme will return to action at Kelloryn Park on Wednesday night at 9:30pm to host the V.P. leading Storm. Xtreme presently holds a 2-0 lead "head-to-head" and will be looking for the Season Series Sweep!
