Xtreme plays 5 innings for 2nd game in a row!

On Tuesday night Xtreme Contracting travelled down to K2 to wrap up their 3-game road trip against Greenthumb/Woodland (and George Doumas).  Xtreme put this one out of reach right from the get-go, cashing 6 runs in the top of the first en route to a "shortened" 25-1 victory.  Mike Anderson saw a couple of innings work on the mound for Xtreme (conceding the only run of the evening), while starting 2nd baseman Dave Mountain took a bad hop to the face and was cut open, but returned to the game an inning later.

To make Tuesday's victory even sweeter, Mayhem broke the 13-game win streak of the Storm with an 8-4 victory, moving Xtreme 1-game closer to 1st place in the WMSPL (with 2 crucial games remaining head-to-head between the teams) over the balance of the Season.

Xtreme will have a week off now before returning to action on Wednesday August 7th, when they play host to the Bradley Motors Shifters on K1 at 9:30pm.

*A couple of Rain-Out dates are still yet to be finalized, and it is possible that Xtreme will also play at 8:00pm next Wednesday evening (still TBD).  Stay tuned for further updates.*
