Xtreme Opens 2-game mini-homestand with a Victory!

After a long 8-day layoff, Xtreme Contracting opened up a 2-game home-stand against the Bradley Motors Shifters in the comfortable confines of K1 on Wednesday evening (in a rain shortened 6 inning game).

While Xtreme did not display its' usual explosive offence, they did manage to record some key hits in crucial situations, allowing them to cash some important runs on the evening.  All in all, 10 runs-for was enough on this evening, as the defence was once again solid, combined with another great pitching performance from both Cito and Larry Mitchell, holding the Shifters to 6 runs on the night.

Up next is a Friday night "rain date" against the League Leaders (Signage Source Storm) at 9:30pm on K1.  With but 2 games left on the schedule against the Storm in the regular season, Friday night will determine whether or not Xtreme will have a chance of capturing the coveted President's Division title, as nothing less than a victory will be acceptable!
