A's Capitalize as Leafs and Xtreme Shit The Bed!

Monday May 13th, 2013 will no doubt go down as one of the worst nights in History!

Xtreme Contracting players began arriving at the diamond around the time of the 2nd Intermission in Game 7 of the Leafs/Bruins series.  Rodgers arrived with the I-Phone and Tablet to ensure that live streaming of the 3rd period was available as the team warmed up with their pre-gamers.  By 9:20pm with the Leafs holding a 4-2 lead, Xtreme players made the move to their dugout (with the TV).

During the top of the 1st with Xtreme in the field, sounds of disappointment rained across Kelloryn Park as Boston scored to pull within 1 goal of the Leafs.  That disappointment turned to sheer anger when the tying goal was scored and sent Game 7 into Overtime.  Meanwhile, in the ballgame, the A's had a few consecutive hits and took an early 3-0 lead.  Xtreme stormed back and after 2 innings had built up what should have been a relatively comfortable lead.

Unfortunately, the Bruins then netted an OT winner to take Game 7 and that is when Xtreme decided to display its Toronto Maple Leaf defensive skills and the game turned into a comedy of errors.  The offense was solid enough as the team put up 22 runs, including C. Mace hitting his league-leading 5th HR of the season, and Ashbee hitting his 2nd and 3rd of the Season.  However, the A's also hit the ball hard and scored 23 times to come out on top by a run.

Make the Final... A's 23 - Xtreme 22

  2. Mike was awesome as usual, He didn t make any errors. Oh wait, actually he didn t even make a play. I guess the other team was scared to hit the ball to him in right field where he was scene playing with himself. There was nothing else to do out there. Poor guy, watching his teammates make error after error.
