Sponsor Misses 3rd Straight Game... Xtreme Contracting now 3-0 during this Stretch!

Xtreme was at home on Tuesday evening to face Greenthumb/Woodland at 9:30pm on K2.  Having won 6 of their last 7 games, Xtreme Contracting was looking to continue their climb up the rungs of the President`s Division ladder.

In a game that featured very little Offence through the first 5.5 innings (Xtreme lead 6-5), Greenthumb hung right in there and gave Xtreme a good scare.  It wasn't until the bottom of the 6th inning that Xtreme's bats seemed to wake up and they strung together some key hits, scoring 9 in the frame to buy a bit of breathing room heading into the 7th inning.

Greenthumb cashed 1 additional run in the top of the 7th before the Defence shut the door.

Final Score:  Xtreme Contracting 15 - Greenthumb/Woodland 6

With the victory, Xtreme Contracting (12-6) now sits tied for 2nd in the Division and 3rd in the League Standings with Hanet Plastics (pending the outcome of their missing game sheet from July 7th versus Rebels).  Xtreme will visit Hanet this Friday night at 9:30pm on K1 before returning home on Sunday (Fan Appreciation Night) to face the Rebels at 5:00pm on K2.  Following the game, Xtreme players and staff will be available for autographs and the regular post-game banter "on the hill" while enjoying some Cold Pops and Strikeout Pizzas (thanks be to Timmy, Dave, and Drew).

Come out and cheer on YOUR Xtreme Contracting en-route to top-spot in the WMSPL!!!
