Bone Crushers left baffled by Xtreme Comeback!

Labour Day Monday featured another huge matchup for the 2011 WMSPL Playoff Champs versus the Coulas Bone Crushers.  In a game full of defensive mishaps and overall poor team hitting by Xtreme Contracting, it was one half inning (the top of the 7th) that was the difference on this evening.

Trailing by a score of 12-6 (with Storm in the crowd licking their chops at the thought of an Xtreme loss in advance of their 9:30pm contest against the A's), the middle, bottom, and then top of the order all came through in the clutch, delivering a total of 10 runs in the inning and giving Xtreme a 16-12 lead.  The defence came through in the bottom of the 7th and kept Coulas off the board, leading Xtreme to its' 27th win of the season.

With one game to go in the regular season (Sunday at 5:00pm vs. Falcons), the League Champion title is up for grabs.  It will be Xtreme Contracting looking for a victory combined with a Storm loss at 6:30pm when they will take on the 2012 WMSPL Playoff Champion Hanet Plastics.
