For the 1st time in the last couple of years, the WMSPL Playoff Final did not feature Xtreme Contracting as they suffered a defeat at the hands of the Falcons in the 2:00pm Semi-Final matchup.
The weekend started slowly for Xtreme when they were defeated on Saturday morning by Bradley Motors followed by another loss at the hands of Direct Elevator, leaving the 2011 WMSPL Playoff Champs at 0-2 after round-robin play.
This meant a cross-over elimination game at 5:30pm versus the V.P. Division Champs (Coulas Bone Crushers) and the Xtreme Offense finally woke-up and hit the ball en route to their first victory of the weekend. The victory set-up a Sunday morning Quarter-Final against the President Division Champs (Signage Source Storm); a matchup that was being anticipated as a potential Championship Final. Xtreme continued its winning ways in this game and proceeded to eliminate the Storm from the Playoffs for the 3rd consecutive year.
Xtreme would like to congratulate the A's who captured the 2013 Playoff Title with a victory over the Falcons in the 9-inning finale. The A's put together a 5-0 playoff weekend run to claim the hardware.
