Xtreme prepared for a new month of baseball following the August Civic Holiday as they returned to action on Tuesday August 5th hosting Greenthumb on K2. In a squeaker, Xtreme came out on top defeating Greenthumb by a final count of 13-12.
Xtreme then followed this up with another home game against Direct Elevator. Xtreme played solid "D" and had some big hits in this one, leading to the 13-9 win and a season sweep of Direct.
August 13th - Xtreme plays in a see-saw battle against the Rebels. It's a late game comeback by the Offense that led to the 20-16 victory on this evening.
Xtreme rode a 3-game win streak into the final regular season meeting against Hanet Plastics. This game was all Xtreme from the get go and the first comfortable win in awhile. Final Score - Xtreme Contracting 18 and Hanet Plastics 3.
And finally, Xtreme extends its winning streak to 5 games (and now sits a half-game back of Storm) after recording a 25-6 win over Bradley Motors in WMSPL action last night.
Catch Xtreme this Friday night at 8:00pm as they look to make it 6 in a row on K2 when they pay a visit to the St. Louis Devils.
