Xtreme picks-up Dunner as Tryout for 2015 Season!

Sunday night saw Xtreme put it's 6-game win streak on the road when they hosted the Coulas Bone Crushers on K1.  Xtreme's roster was down to only 8 players so President Dunn was called into action and given a chance to show Xtreme why it still makes sense to pull the trigger on the Dunn for Anderson trade which there has been much speculation about over the past two seasons. Dunner played a strong CF (only 1 error that Ackford would have called BRUTAL) and batted above average in his Xtreme debut. Unfortunately there were a few short liners that Xtreme outfielders could not make plays on due in large part to fielding with a 9-man roster and a few ground balls that were bobbled or snuck through the infield. Nonetheless, the biggest concern was the lack of Offence in this one as Xtreme only managed to score 7 against the Bone Crusher defence, which compared unfavourably to the 9 runs scored by Coulas.  Make it a 9-7 Bone Crusher win.
