Following Tuesday's rainout, Xtreme was looking to extend its winning streak against the Rebels on Friday night. The game featured a lack of offense from both squads. Xtreme built up a modest 6-2 lead, only to watch Rebels go ahead 7-6 in the bottom of the 6th inning. Xtreme's offense could not muster the tying run in the top of the 7th and there you have it - Rebels win 7-6!
Xtreme (2-2) returns to action on Sunday evening, opening a mini 2-game homestand against the President Division Leaders Signage Source Storm (3-1). Game time is 6:30pm on K1.
Coming up on Monday, Xtreme will face the V.P. Division Leaders Coulas Bone Crushers at 9:30pm on K1. This will be the first regular season meeting of the year between the two teams, with Xtreme having disposed of the Bone Crushers 19-6 in the semi-finals of the WMSPL mid-season tourney.
