Despite what appeared to be a brigade of Walking Wounded arriving at Kelloryn Park, Xtreme returned to action on Sunday evening to face the Rebels (their first of 3 meetings in the next 6 games). Xtreme knew that the Rebels would be fresh having only 1 or 2 representatives having played in the mid-season tourney.
Nonetheless, Xtreme was focused on returning to its winning ways and broke open a 6-2 lead with a 12-run inning, and that was the beginning of the end of this one. The offense featured long-balls by C.Mace (his 6th and 7th of the year), and J.Allen (with his 1st of the regular season).
Xtreme Contracting (2-1) will visit Greenthumb on Tuesday evening at 8pm on K2 and then have 2 days off before playing 3 games in 4 nights starting this Friday evening.
