The 2013 "Mid-Season Tourney" saw Xtreme Contracting pooled with fellow "President Division" squads including the Falcons, Devils/Rebels, and Storm/Direct.
The round-robin featured a Friday night, bottom of the 7th "come-from-behind" win over the Falcons. Satuday morning saw a 7-run victory against Storm/Direct, and in the second leg of the double-header, another win over Devils/Rebels to give Xtreme a 3-0 record (and capture 1st Place in the Division).
In the semi-final crossover game, it was the Coulas Bone Crushers that provided the opposition for Xtreme. Xtreme's offense and defense were both solid, and a 19-6 victory sent Xtreme to the Final.
Falcons also won their semi-final crossover against the A's which set-up what was sure to be another Classic Xtreme/Falcons Championship. It was a great game and the score was tied through the end of 4 innings. Xtreme went to the plate in the bottom of the 7th trailing by 2 runs. With 2-out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Falcons outfielder C. Dunn went up and over the fence to take away Ashbee's 3-run walk-off Homerun, ending the game, and giving Falcons the Mid-Season Crown.
Xtreme will have no time to "lick their wounds" as they return to the Diamond on Sunday at 6:30pm (K2), and will face the Rebels for the first time this season.
