Sunday saw Xtreme Contracting looking to extend their (1-Game) winning streak as they faced-off against Hanet Plastics at 5pm on K2.
The bats were out in full force and the long-ball proved to be "the hit of choice" for the first few innings as Xtreme players jacked 5 Homeruns in the game including (2) for Jamie Allan, and (1 each) for Rick Mace, Paul Wilcox, and Matt Ballantyne.
The defense was good enough (despite making a few errors), and Xtreme took a 4-run lead that they would not relinquish, recording a 17-13 victory over Hanet and improving to 18-8-1 on the year.
Xtreme remains 3 games behind Devils in the race for the President's Division trophy.
Congratulations are extended to Coach Ackford, who missed Sunday's game due to a Championship Final appearance (and victory) at the Uxbridge Tournament.
You can catch Xtreme back in action on Tuesday night, as they look to avenge a 7-4 defeat at the hands of Mayhem (which you will recall is the night Ackford missed to go and see Neil Diamond in concert, and ultimately was the start of the "tailspin" the team went into).
